Premium Large Tow Carbon Fiber for Industrial Applications
BACKGROUND
Carbon fiber usage continues to grow in all market sectors. However, we expect the industrial sector will offer the largest potential growth and Mitsubishi Rayon Group recognizes the need to produce new carbon fibers to meet this demand. We have, therefore, developed the P330 Series, a RANGE OF PREMIUM LARGE TOW CARBON FIBERS, which are specifically targeted into large composite parts such as wind turbine blades, automotive parts and pressure vessels.
The P330 Series fibers offer a high tow count but with small tow processability and physical properties, and current include the following fibers:
• TRH 50 60k
• TRW 40 50k
New fibers will be added to meet market demands.
