Grafil offers one of the most diverse carbon fiber product ranges on the market today. Our high strength carbon fibers are available in filament counts ranging from 3K to 48K with moduli between 34 Msi (235 GPa) and 65 Msi (450 GPa).

The Grafil range of standard modulus fibers are manufactured in Sacramento, California and are available in 12K, 24K and 48K tow sizes. They can be supplied in either round tow or flat tow formats. The flat tow (designated by WD in the fiber type) is the ideal fiber to use in applications where spreading is required, e.g. tape production. Using proprietary winding technology produces a tape of consistent width with extremely low levels of false twist. The round tow is used in applications where spreading is not necessarily required e.g. braiding or weaving into fabrics.

The extensive range of Pyrofil standard, intermediate, and high modulus products are available in filament counts of 3K, 6K, 12K and 24K. They are manufactured in Toyohashi, Japan.
