Manufacturing
Grafil
Inc.’s carbon fiber manufacturing plant is located in
Sacramento, California, USA. Here we convert the high quality
precursor supplied by our parent company, Mitsubishi Rayon
Co LTD into carbon fiber. This modern, highly efficient, carbon
fiber manufacturing facility is capable of producing the 12K,
24K and 48K standard modulus products (34-600 and 34-700) as
well as the precision cut fibers, nylon-sized PA6-2 and urethane-sized PU6-1.
The
Pyrofil products are manufactured by our parent company Mitsubishi
Rayon Co LTD (MRC) at Toyohashi in Japan and are available directly
from our warehouse in Sacramento and also from our Europe Sales
Office.
The ability to seamlessly manufacture high performance
and high quality carbon fiber from dual production sources
gives Grafil
and Pyrofil fibers the best performance economics for today’s
market.
To complete our commitment to the carbon fiber industry, Grafil
and MRC’s carbonization capacity has been rapidly expanded
in recent years. This underscores our mission to supply the most
competitive carbon fiber available in the market today and in
the future. |
